biography...Angie
L. Finch is currently teaching Pre-K at HGS.
She has been a teacher at Holy Ghost School since 2005.
Angie has always wanted to teach at Holy Ghost School due to
the loving, family environment it portrays.
She is a parent of HGS
students and the wife of an alumnus.
She is a member of Holy Ghost Church.
Angie attended a catholic school in Covington and is a firm
believer in catholic education. Angie
feels it is an honor to teach children how to pray, love, and care for
others. In
2003-2004 Angie taught 2nd grade and in 2004-2005 she taught 3rd
grade at St. Joseph School in Ponchatoula.
From 2005-2007 she taught second grade here at Holy Ghost.
She is now taking advantage of an opportunity she has been
waiting for. This
wonderful opportunity is teaching Pre-K. Angie adores the small children and is absolutely devoted to
teaching these students. Previous
to teaching Angie worked in hospital settings with children that had
physical and mental needs. Angie
holds a Master's of Arts in teaching elementary and mild/moderate
special education Pre-K to 6th grade from Southeastern
Louisiana University. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in
Psychology also from Southeastern Louisiana University. Training:
Angie
is married to David Finch. They have two beautiful children. Alyssa and Bryce are HGS students and are mom and dad’s
angels. Angie enjoys
spending time with her family and friends.
When the family is ready for time away, they love to relax at
the beach.
