Darleen Dufour has been in education for 13 years. She graduated from Our Lady of Holy Cross College in New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Darleen holds a state certification for grades PreK - 8th grade. She taught 2 years in the Title I classroom helping those with reading disabilities. After 2 years with Title I, she decided to move her teaching career to St. Louise de Marillac School in St. Bernard Parish. She spent 6 years at St. Louise teaching 2nd grade. Darleen also taught 2nd grade at Ursuline Academy in New Orleans.
