biography...

Kimberly C. Inman joined the Holy Ghost Faculty in the Spring of 2004. Inman, a native of Hammond, is a graduate of Holy Ghost School and St. Thomas Aquinas High School. In the Spring of 2004, she graduated magna cum laude from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Secondary Social Studies Education degree. While at Southeastern, Inman maintained membership in The Thirteen Club, an honor society at SLU. Upon graduating, she received the Outstanding Senior in Social Studies Education award from the Department of History and Political Science.

Prior to graduation from Southeastern, Inman student-taught 5 American History honors classes at Ponchatoula High School. In 2004-2005, she taught 7th grade Language Arts at Holy Ghost. She teaches 5th and 6th grade Social Studies and is a 6th grade homeroom teacher. Mrs. Inman has been trained on how to use Thinking Maps in the classroom and is Kagan certified. She also attended workshops on Lee Canter’s classroom discipline techniques. She is currently working on religious certification and graduate level classes.

Inman resides in Albany, with her husband, Craig. She has two daughters who attend Holy Ghost.

Inman says she chose to teach at Holy Ghost because she could directly refer to God throughout her lessons. “When I student-taught in a public school, not being able to talk about God was very difficult. It is enjoyable to take teachable moments and vocally attribute them to God. I could not do that in a public school.”
