biography...
Lori Schillace is a third grade teacher at Holy Ghost School.  Lori grew up in Baton Rouge and gratuated from Woodlawn High School in 1986.  After graduating from high school she went on to earn a degree in elementary education from Southeastern Louisiana University.

Lori began working at Holy Ghost in the spring of 1997 as a substitue teacher.  She received a permanent position in the fall of 1997.  Lori has been teaching at Holy Ghost for sixteen years.  She taught second grade for her first four years and is presently teaching third grade.

While employed at Holy Ghost School Lori has received training in:  Thinking Maps, Girl Town/Boys Town, Tangi Tech, Fast Forward, Accerlerated Reader, Lee Canter's Assertive Discipline, Basic certification in Religious Education, and currently working on Intermediate certification in Religious Education.

Lori is married to Johnny Schillace.  Johnny is the purchasing agent for the Tangipahoa Parish Sherriffs Office.  He also owns a few local businesses.  Lori and Johnny have a eleven year old daughter, Dani and an ten year old son, Blaise.  Both Dani and Blaise attend Holy Ghost School.

Lori is very proud of her family as well as her years here at Holy Ghost.  She hopes to continue touching the lives of all of her students in a positive way for many years to come.
