The Holy Ghost School National Junior Honor
Society
The National
Junior Honor Society is an organization that promotes
recognition for students who reflect outstanding
accomplishments in the areas of scholarship,
character, leadership, citizenship, and service. 7th
and 8th grade student who meet certain criteria will
be invited to join the National Junior Honor Society.
Members must maintain a certain Grade Point Average,
perform individual service hours each 9 weeks, and
model appropriate conduct and behavior. Students are
invited to join the National Junior Honor Society in
the second semester, at which time an Induction
Ceremony will take place. The National Junior Honor
Society sponsors one dance during the school year as
well as group service projects.
