Shannon Jordan is a fourth grade teacher at Holy Ghost School.  Shannon attended elementary school at St. Charles through 7th grade and transferred to St. Joan of Arc for 8th grade.  Shannon attended St. Charles Catholic High in LaPlace.  After graduation from SCCH, she went on to earn an elementary education degree from SLU.

Shannon worked at Holy Ghost for one and a half years upon graduation.  Then Shannon took off 4 years to stay at home with her twins who were born in 1996.  During this time Shannon ran a daycare center from her home.

Upon returning to teaching in 2000, Shannon worked one year as a fourth grade teacher at D. C. Reeves in Ponchatoula.  After completing that year Shannon took at job at HGS.  Shannon has been employed at HGS as a fourth grade teacher for 5 years.

While employed at Holy Ghost School Shannon has received training in: Thinking Maps, Girl Town/Boys Town, Tangi. Tech, Accelerated Reader, Lee Canter's Assertive Discipline, CPR, and is currently working on completing Basic certification in Religious Education.

Shannon is married to Michael Jordan. Michael is employed as a salesperson for Coburn's supply.  They have nine year old twins, Amanda and Andrew.  Amanda and Andrew attend Holy Ghost School.

Shannon is very proud of her family as well as her career in education.  She hopes to continue touching he lives that she comes in contact with in a positive way.
