biography ...Tangee Ann
Daugereaux is the Principal of Holy Ghost Catholic School.
She is very honored to be at a school where God is the true
leader. Tangee was called
by God five years ago to teach at Holy Ghost. She taught 1st grade for 1 year and then became an
Administrative Assistant for 2 years.
After receiving her master’s degree, she earned the title of
Assistant Principal, which she has been for 2 years. Tangee
graduated with honors from John Ehret High School in New Orleans, in
1983. She completed her
undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Southeastern
Louisiana University. She
graduated cum laude in 1982. She
received her master’s degree in education from SLU in 2004. Tangee taught 1st
grade for 10 years in Livingston Parish.
Her motto has always been to teach the child, not the subject.
Her love of God, children and reading is what drives her to
stay abreast of the latest developments and trends in education.
She is a student at heart! Tangee has been
trained in a multitude of learning initiatives.
Some include: Tangee has also
served on numerous committees. Some
include: Tangee is also
a member of many professional organizations.
Some include: Tangee strives
to live by “God first, family second and career third.” She is very active in her church parish of Holy Ghost.
She is a lector, Eucharistic Minister and has served on many
committees. She is also a
past assistant director of Vacation Bible School and has taught
several years. Tangee
also serves on the Board of Directors for Options in Hammond. Tangee has been
married to Dennis for 21 years and has a precious daughter named
Sadie. Tangee stays busy
following Sadie in her passion for dancing! To love
what you do and feel that it matters:

rejoices in teaching children about God and about knowledge.
She has the absolute best job in the world!
