National Junior Honor Society

The National Junior Honor Society is an organization that promotes recognition for students who reflect outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership, citizenship, and service. Students starting in 8th grade, who met certain criteria during their 7th grade year, will be invited to join the National Junior Honor Society. Members must maintain a certain Grade Point Average, perform individual service hours each 9 weeks, and model appropriate conduct and behavior. Students are invited to join the National Junior Honor Society prior to the new school year, at which time an Induction Ceremony will take place. The National Junior Honor Society sponsors group service projects during the school year.
